ECTRI's presence in 2002 conferences

European Commission Conference on FP6, Brussels, Belgium, 11 - 13 November 2002

Over 8,000 people attended this conference that was held by the European Commission to launch the EU 6th Framework Programme. The conference presented the Framework Programme objectives and priorities. ECTRI was present at the exhibition that was complementary to the verbal presentations and promoted the networking and integration of research activities in Europe.

Surface Transport Technologies for Sustainable Development,
Valencia, Spain, 4 - 6 June 2002

This conference addressed the technological and industrial development challenges facing the rail, road and maritime transport sectors. The event focussed on developing a vision for the future and how this could be achieved in the context of European, national and industrial transport and research policies. The exhibition was held in parallel with the conference and ECTRI was present through a booth.
